Groove Ureteric Stent
The Groove Ureteric Stent has been developed using Tecoflex® material, which softens at body temperature, with the intention of minimising patient discomfort when in situ. The external groove design has been engineered to offer additional drainage conduits on the external aspect of the stent, intended to minimise the risk of total occlusion or sub-optimal drainage.
Minimising patient discomfort and reducing risk of stent occlusion may improve patient quality of life, reduce re-intervention rates and avoid additional costs.
