Treatment for AV fistula stenosis

The Tri-Wedge PTA Scoring Balloon Dilatation Catheter is intended for treatment of stenotic lesions in the peripheral vasculature including the iliac, femoral, iliofemoral, popliteal and renal arteries. Tri-Wedge is designed for precise dilatation specifically in dysfunctional arteriovenous fistula and grafts (AVF & AVG). The unique triangular metallic scoring elements offer 360° of precise and effective dilatation. This creates a focal stress pattern to facilitate locked plaque modification under low dilatation pressures and it effectively reduces slippage during inflation.

Effective focused force dilatation

The three triangular designed metallic scoring elements provide more concentration and less slippage on the vascular wall to effectively modify fibrous plaque and calcified plaque.

Easy navigation in tortuous vasculature

Excellent trackability in AVFs with an acute angle as low as 20°. Three triangular metallic scoring elements are positioned axially avoiding twisting and providing a smaller profile, excellent pushability and making it easier to cross tight lesions.

Reducing vessel wall injury and dissection

Three triangular metallic scoring elements are designed to longitudinally fracture plaque and achieve effective scoring. The triangular scoring system reduces vessel wall injury and the incidence of dissection. This can reduce restenosis and "dog boning" phenomena.
